The High Priestess’ Kabbalistic Path: 13, between Kether and Tiphareth
Kether means “crown”. Kether is the top of the Tree of Life. It represents the Is, the divine. It is the first sphere, the one the rest of the spheres come from. Kether is pure potential.
Tiphareth means “beauty”. This is a sphere of balance, balancing severity and mercy. Tiphareth reflects the power of Kether. You can think of it as the Tao. It is also the sphere of healing, of ideas, and of reconciliation.
So we can think of the High Priestess as the potential of Kether transformed into ideas. Or we can think of her as the idea that can lead us to connect with the Divine Essence or Is.
